Our Story
Firefly SUP Drives has been building and selling electric paddleboards since 2014, longer than any other company in the business. We are also the only company offering boards equipped with our unique forward-mounted drive technology.
It all started in 2013, when we installed a trolling motor on 12-foot windsurfer. It worked so well we established our company, and began selling electric paddleboards throughout the U.S. In 2017, we partnered with ePropulsion to incorporate their advanced electronics. And in 2021, we patented our forward-mounted drive securing our path as the definitive leader in performance oriented, electric standup paddleboarding products.
